Study Abroad Programs at LdM in Florence and Tuscania
Choose a study abroad program at Lorenzo de' Medici (LdM) - one of Italy’s most well-established international institutions in higher education. Students can choose between a range of courses in multiple disciplines, and customize their study program to suit their academic and personal goals.
Students can study at one of LdM's two campuses:
- LdM Florence is right in the very heart of the Renaissance city - ideal for studying fine arts, design, art history, and creative and culinary arts.
- LdM Tuscania, a historic hill town in the Latium countryside, offers students a real immersive Italian experience, with courses such as Italian language and culture, fine arts, culinary arts, sustainable tourism, and hands-on courses in organic agriculture.
Semester programs start in Fall and Spring. Students can also apply for a whole Academic Year Program; for three-week January programs; for four-week Summer programs during the summer, as well as for special four-week workshops in Restoration and Archaeology Field Schools. All courses are taught in English, except for Italian Language and Culture. Contact LdM to find out more.
Admission requirements
To be eligible to apply for this program students must:
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be in a good medical/psychological condition
- Have proof of English proficiency
Students looking to take the Two Italies Program and the Archaeology Field School must have completed one year of university by the start of the program. Contact LdM for more information.
